Canute Road Signal Box

Canute Road signalbox controlled the level crossing by the original Terminus Station, the canopy of which can be seen in the background, and access to the Old Docks. This crossing is still in use on a regular basis for car trains and less frequently for traditional boat trains connecting with the liners Queen Mary II and Queen Victoria. These trains, often formed of the VSOE Pullman rake, are occasionally steam hauled, Canadian Pacific and Flying Scotsman being recent visitors
